It’s the Love-America people, versus the Hate-America crowd.
I was surprised that we didn’t hear about this ahead of time so did some googling..
Doesn’t appear to have been an actual rally with POTUS in attendance, but instead a group of Trump supporters holding an impromptu gathering outside at the intersection of a couple fairly busy roads in Sterling Heights.
Pretty sloppy and apparently inaccurate reporting from The Daily Caller..
Also - the local Sterling Heights paper (Macomb Daily) reports the crowd at “around 200” but you never know nowadays what the real numbers were..
That said, Macomb County did go heavy for Trump and the last (R) candidate to have managed that was Reagan. The ACTUAL campaign rally that we went to back in 2016 was a blow-out with more people in attendance than could get in to the venue (Freedom Hill ampitheather which can hold over 7,000 people..) We didn’t think we were going to be able to get in at first and had to wait quite some time for them to find room to cram more people in..
Everything west of the Hudson and east of the Colorado River.
Dammit! How did I miss that? The crowd at Freedom Hill was over capacity, I’m sure.
I will be in the heart of darkness this week.
I plan to wear a simple red cap and see what transpires.
