More of you good folk need to wake up and see that, not only didn't Trump collude with Russia in the 2016 election as the lying sleaze ball, notoriously traitorous, Dems alleged, but rather that THEY did!

So this is turning out to be about more than the Dems getting caught lying to the FISA court, and all that. It's seeming more and more to be a case of TREASON, as President Trump himself has recently claimed.

From John Solomon, The Hill, May 16, 2019...

Re: Serhiy Leshchenko

"...a Ukrainian court ruled that the country’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau, closely aligned with the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, and a parliamentarian named Serhiy Leshchenko wrongly interfered in the 2016 American election by releasing documents related to Manafort."

Ukraine, a U.S. ally and neighboring foe of Russia, is soon to find out. And it’s a case with implications in the United States, where the fallout from the unproven Trump-Russia collusion scandal has engulfed several Ukrainians.

The country’s chief corruption prosecutor on Thursday opened an investigation into “suspicions” that Serhiy Leshchenko, a crusading anti-corruption member of Ukraine’s parliament and former investigative journalist, accepted bribes in 2016 from a Russian source that enabled him to buy a luxury condo far above his means. ...”

-snip-

A Ukrainian court last December ruled that Leshchenko and the head of the country’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) — an investigative agency modeled on America’s FBI — both illegally meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election by leaking financial documents that smeared then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort

The documents, known as “the black ledger,” identified payments Manafort secretly received from a Russian-backed political party in Ukraine years earlier and led to Manafort’s abrupt resignation from the Trump campaign. He eventually pleaded guilty to lobbying and tax violations and is in prison.

The court ruling against Leshchenko was an extraordinary admission of foreign government influence on America’s last presidential election.

But it wasn’t Leshchenko’s only intrusion into American politics, apparently.

Sworn testimony released a few weeks ago by Congress revealed Leshchenko also was “a source” of Russian dirt on Trump that was fed to Hillary Clinton’s opposition research firm, Fusion GPS, the firm that created the so-called Steele dossier that led to a two-year Russia probe that recently cleared Donald Trump of colluding with Russian President Vladimir Putin

So, a Ukrainian parliamentarian fed dirt to Clinton’s team and leaked to the media information that harmed the Republican candidate’s campaign? That seems like more collusion than was uncovered by special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

But the most tantalizing information about Leshchenko surfaced in my interview Thursday with Ukraine’s chief anti-corruption prosecutor, Nazar Kholodnytskyy, who revealed that the alleged bribes to the parliamentarian and the condo purchase occurred around the time that Manafort stepped down under pressure based on Leshchenko’s leak.

“Absolutely that is one of the things they are going to be investigating,” Kholodnytskyy told me when asked whether any of the Russian money could have been paid as an inducement or a reward for Leshchenko’s meddling in the U.S. election.

Giuliani: "The fact is, this was a massive collusion between the Democratic National Committee, officials of the Obama administration, (Hillary) Clinton people, and the Ukrainian officials, corrupt officials — who, by the way, were pro-Russian corrupt officials"

AG Bill Barr: 'I'm Concerned' the Steele Dossier Was Part of Russia's Disinformation Campaign

PJMedia.com ^ | May 1, 2019 | Tyler O'Neil

On Wednesday, [May 1, 2019] Attorney General William Barr testified that he is “concerned” about the Trump-Russia dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele and paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) asked Barr whether or not the Department of Justice (DOJ) could confirm that the Steele dossier was not part of the disinformation campaign Russia used to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

“How do we know that the Steele dossier is not itself evidence of the Russian disinformation campaign, knowing what we know now that basically the allegations made therein were second-hand, hearsay, or unverified,” Cornyn stated, referring to key claims in the dossier that the report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller disproved, such as the claim that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen traveled to Prague.

“Can you state with confidence that the Steele dossier was not part of the Russian disinformation campaign?” Cornyn asked.

“No, I can’t state that with confidence and that is one of the areas that I’m reviewing,” Barr replied. “I’m concerned about it and I don’t think it’s entirely speculative.”

If Russia had a hand in the Steele dossier, that would imply that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC either worked with Russians or were duped by the Russians in their disinformation campaigns.

It would mean that the real “collusion” with Russia may have been on the Clinton side, rather than the Trump side.

July 2017...

[Dossier] Democrats intentionally used disinformation from Russia to attack Trump, campaign aides

By Rowan Scarborough
The Washington Times
July 11, 2017

While the mainstream news media hunts for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, the public record shows that Democrats have willfully used Moscow disinformation to influence the presidential election against Donald Trump and attack his administration.

The disinformation came in the form of a Russian-fed dossier written by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. It contains a series of unverified criminal charges against Mr. Trump’s campaign aides, such as coordinating Moscow’s hacking of Democratic Party computers.

Some Democrats have widely circulated the discredited information.

Mr. Steele was paid by the Democrat-funded opposition research firm Fusion GPS with money from a Hillary Clinton backer.

Fusion GPS distributed the dossier among Democrats and journalists. The information fell into the hands of the FBI, which used it in part to investigate Mr. Trump’s campaign aides.

Mr. Steele makes clear that his unproven charges came almost exclusively from sources linked to the Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He identified his sources as “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure,” a former “top level Russian intelligence officer active inside the Kremlin,” a “senior Kremlin official” and a “senior Russian government official.”

The same Democrats who have condemned Russia’s election interference via plying fake news and hacking email servers have quoted freely from the Steele anti-Trump memos derived from creatures of the Kremlin.

In other words, there is public evidence of significant, indirect collusion between Democrats and Russian disinformation...”

This article is breathtakingly stupid.

Christopher Steele says the Russians gave him all his info.
But everything he says is suspect, his document is full of BS that would have taken him minimal checking to know it’s absurd. If he didn’t make most of it up himself, which I think is likely.

EVEN THIS AUTHOR says everything Christopher Steele says is suspect, look at this quote:

“those notes also demonstrate Steele failing to keep his story straight between the State Department and FBI, proving how unreliable he is.”

But somehow his claim about who is sources are is pure golden fact because... why?

Then this author excitely talks about how a government employee and government employee confirm the sources — but THEIR only source was an interview with Christopher Steele!

And the author excitely says wow the sources name keeps popping up all over the place! From christopher steele, an interview with Christopher Steele, and a document transcribing the interview with christopher steele.
Face palm. Journalistic malpractice.

Whistleblower Exposes Key Player in FBI Russia Probe: “It was all a Set-up”

Sara Carter
August 27, 2018

“An investigation by SaraACarter.com reveals that the documents and information Lovinger stumbled on and other documents obtained by this news site, raise troubling questions about Halper, who was believed to have worked with the CIA and part of the matrix of players in the bureau’s ‘CrossFire Hurricane’ investigation into Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Halper, who assisted the FBI in the Russia investigation, appears to also have significant ties to the Russian government, as well as sources connected directly to President Vladimir Putin.

Halper did not respond to requests for comment.”

Keep in mind that this article (first one below) from the left-wing snooze magazine Newsweek was meant to "dirty" Trump. Meanwhile, this Russian spy guy for KGB/FSB Putin was, in reality, working with them(The Democrats!)! Lol!

I just hope Sean Hannity and others get it straight and relays it to their TV and radio audiences in full proper detail. Same for all the other non-lefty TV, radio and print commentators...

Thanks again to FReeper HollyB for posting this on another recent thread of mine.

Vladimir Putin’s Adviser Tells Americans: ‘Russia Interferes in Your Brains, We Change Your Conscience’

Cristina Maza (Newsweek)
Feb 12, 2019

Americans who worry about Russia election interference should stop focusing on such trivialities and instead realize that the idea that they have a choice over how they are governed is a mere illusion, Vladislav Surkov, an adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin, wrote in an op-ed published this week.

“The illusion of choice is the most important illusion, the main trick of Western democracy especially….

The rejection of this illusion in favor of the reality that everything is predestined will allow society to reflect first on our vision of democratic development,” Surkov wrote.

“Foreign politicians talk about Russia’s interference in elections and referendums around the world.

In fact, the matter is even more serious: Russia interferes in your brains, we change your conscience, and there is nothing you can do about it.”

Election interference is not the main thing Americans should be worried about, said an adviser to the Russian president.

In his op-ed for the Russian publication Nezavisimaya Gazeta, or “Independent Newspaper,” Surkov also laid out Putin’s vision of returning Russia to its rightful role as a global superpower and exporting “Putinism” as an ideology to be adopted around the world.

“After having fallen from the USSR to the Russian Federation, Russia stopped collapsing and began to recover and return to its natural and only possible state as a large nation that is on the rise,” he wrote.

“The great role assigned to our country in the history of the world does not allow us to leave the stage or keep silent among the crowd….

It does not promise peace….

Putin’s great political machine is only gaining momentum and gearing up for a long, difficult, and interesting job,” Surkov continued.

He then went on to describe Putin as the founder of modern Russia, similar to the Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk or France’s Charles de Gaulle.

“Putinism is the ideology of the future,” he wrote.

“The political system created in Russia is suitable not only for the future of local areas, it clearly has significant export potential.” ...”

Now check out this below from conservative (patriot) commentator Dan Bongino, May 17, 2019...

"Thanks to recently released notes from an interview the State Department’s Kathleen Kavalec had with dossier author Christopher Steele, a possible bombshell connection between Halper and the dossier has been uncovered.

As discussed earlier in the week on the podcast, those notes also demonstrate Steele failing to keep his story straight between the State Department and FBI, proving how unreliable he is.

In Kavalec’s handwritten notes from their interview she makes note of two of Steele’s dossier sources; “Trubnikov” and “Surkov.”

Surkov is Vladislav Surkov, an aide of Vladimir Putin who is on the U.S.’s list of sanctioned individuals, and Trubnikov is Vyacheslav Trubnikov, who is currently the First Deputy of Foreign Minister of Russia and formally served as the Director of Foreign Intelligence Service.

Interestingly, Trubnikov is an associate of Halper.
