God love your mom! Mine is 97 going on 20. Shes still fine mentally, and gets mad when someone tries to help her physically. My mom was a Rosie The Riveter in WWII.

Bless her heart!
My mother had turned to wheel chair by age 95, but she did live to see her 103rd birthday. She recognized all close relatives till the end, but was bed ridden last couple of years.
I do not wish to be around when I can’t move on my own, even if it is in a wheel chair.
