sounds like a risky investment to me.. you know how finicky some Brits are .. if it ain’t cold and bland, it ain’t overcooked enough.

I thought so too before I moved there. The cuisine has changed since the 70s. Besides scrumptious local products liek fish and chips (I lived in BRighton) and Cornish pasties and the pies, you have a lot of Goan, Punjabi, Bengali etc. restaurants.
Italian restaurants were doing well and ARE doing well. Oliver’s insists on freshest ingredients - so is affected by the import bills. But others who aren’t so finicky aren’t so impacted.
