Unlike their hopelessly diluted notion of “obstruction,” this appears to be a case of “hastening justice,” and good at that. In contrast, the most disgraceful aspect of W Bush’s legacy was his apathy in the face of the legal abuses of the troops he sent to war and hamstrung with his rules of engagement, whose offenses were born of trying to prosecute his war and promote their survival in impossible conditions.
