Do charging bears in Alaska often carry assault rifles? What works best against charging bears with assault rifles?

Amorally a quality plate carrier and a SAPI plate works well. Mild steel pates have been issued to local IAF types and those have worked most of the time.

Usually isn’t a problem as bears have a hard time swapping out the magazines..something about claw length

I always give charging bears an AMEX . Nobody ever accepts it outside of hotels.
