The ship was originally named after the traitor senator’s father. But more recently the DOD or Pentagon decided to commemorate the ship in honor of the traitor, his dad, and grandfather. The father and grandfather were both admirals and served valiantly and never were responsible for the deaths of shipmates because of their incompetency.

Well, considering that the ship was in an accident that cost 10 sailors their lives, I guess re-dedicating it to Songbird McCain is appropriate.
If Sen. McCain rose on the coat-tails of his father and his father deliberately abetted such treatment, there is some responsibility. That said, such treatment often will be given unless a father deliberately demands that his son be treated like everyone else—and while such fatherly behaviour is commendable, in this fallen world, I would not excessively fault a man for letting fallen human nature take its course.
