Despite the rise to prominence of openly socialist politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), many Americans say they cannot define socialism, according to a new poll.
In a May 29-30 Hill-HarrisX survey of registered voters, 20 percent said they were unsure what socialism was.
The study also found that respondents gravitated toward both positive and negative definitions of the term much more than toward its academic meaning. Only 13 percent described socialism as government ownership of some parts of the economy.
Twenty-eight percent said they believed socialism was fulfilling basic needs like healthcare, housing, and a job to everyone while another 5 percent believed it meant ending poverty.
Twenty-two percent said they viewed socialism as a system lacking in civil liberties and political freedoms while seven percent associated it with abolishing all private property.

You never milk them, they just eat the grass, so you don’t have to mow the lawn.

The president realizes that neighbor wants their own cow, slaughters
your calf every year preventing you from having a cow to sell.
The president takes the slaughtered cow and turns it into hamburger,
has a cook-out so neighbor stops trying to own a cow themselves.
The neighbor spends next 50 years going to presidents cook out and

Our culture lets people get away with moving lips in response to a question regardless if they have no idea how to answer it.
Everybody knows that ‘socialism’ is simply communism sold by the glass.
It’s when you’re on social media and have 2,391,058 followers.
I take this as 80% understand it. And know it’s hell on earth. Maybe there is hope after all.
Winston Churchill had it right “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, a creed of ignorance and a gospel of envy. It’s only inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery’’.
