They want to commit political suicide. Collective Rats ready to jump off the ship.
Maybe beyond Grandma Pelosis abilities to restrain them.
Impeachment was the goal the minute Trump was inevitably going to win. The fix was always in.
Bingo. They want the threat of impeachment out there so when the declassification SHTF they can scream retribution.
It just ain’t happening - wish it was but it ain’t. There are too many clever rats that won’t take the “free” cheese. Too bad. :-(
Trump towers over all of them in every way!
Dems are not the problem. The problem is the stable of terrible candidates that repubs put forth for the down-ballot elections, local and for Congress.

When you stop accepting election results, you have started a countdown to a civil war.
What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that transfers of power in this country are determined by elections. That’s a civil war.
When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what you want is a dictatorship. Your very own dictatorship !
Now, we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they investigate them, and they send them to jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down. That’s not a free country.
It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out an ‘insurance policy’ against Trump winning the election. It’s not a free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who wasn’t supposed to win did.
Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer government and a leftist Democrat professional government.

Isn’t that great!
Not enough time. Not enough votes. Not enough support from all other dems. Not enough evidence to make a single charge.
Other than that, impeachment looks strong.
Love that Pelousy is having a hard time with the kind of folks she and hers have been trying to cultivate for so long....
Will post on my fb page
Since there is an active investigation by the DOJ, would any democratic attempt to start an investigation be , by their definition, obstruction.
Seriously, nice move to shield yourself legally and politically. Just start an investigation so you can claim the investigation into your involvement is just retribution for the investigation you are conducting.
By their own standard, starting an investigation that would overlap or conflict with a current investigation would be an obstruction.
The democrats didn’t read the quicksand sign warning stupidity has a price.
This will be unpopular here, but Nancy Pelosi is the most gifted and most impactful politician of the past quarter-century. She is unliked on this site because she is a Dem and one of the few Dems who is not raving mad. As risible as I find her positions and her rhetoric, she is the only thing keeping the Dem party from a complete implosion.
She is like the soon-to-be 35-year old LeBron James. It’s unclear whether she has lost a half-step in the most intense situations and no longer the player to build an entire franchise around. But still in the top 3-4 in the world.
In an Armageddon-like impeachment war of attrition, the Dems would surely lose and would ensure PDJT’s re-election; but the country would be worse for this. Better all around not to have impeachment. And Pelosi has said so.
I favor having each team put its best players on the field. Peolosi is the best the Dems can put forward.
