She was not a fighter pilot. She flew A-10s. She was an attack puke. And no matter how many tanks she may or may not have flamed, I will bet the ranch that she was handled with great care throughout her career, so to speak.

Instead of recognizing we had NO status of forces agreement allowing exception to local laws, she whined to congress.
Instead of using the chain of command to elevate her concerns she whined to congress.
Instead of going to the IG about her concerns, she by-passed all channels and whined to congress.
