Over a year ago, I asked in this space whether U.S. attorney John Huber could impartially and fully investigate FISA court abuses and other matters in which his boss, Deputy A.G. Rod Rosenstein, was up to his eyeballs. In "Can Huber Investigate His Boss Rosenstein?," I asked:

No big surprise. Sessions took us for a ride too. I supported him in the beginning. He totally disappointed everyone.
I have a similar question.
People thought Huber was investigating FISA abuse. I guess we are now told that he didn’t even start that. Because, apparently, he was too busy investigating the Clinton Foundation.
Maybe that was the point all along? If IG Huber was actually doing legitimate work to find illegal activity related to the Clinton Foundation, then I have no problem with that. As far as I know, the Huber investigation could still give us something good.
I’ve always suspected that Sessions naming Huber was a spur of the moment fake. Huber had been appointed to the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee in Nov ‘17, so a panicked Sessions recalled his name when pressed on a special counsel.
No, No, No - Sessions is still playing 4D chess!
He and Huber are going to completely surprise the corrupt deep state and swamp dwellers when the trap is finally sprung, probably some time in 2028..... Just be patient, folks!!

I did. I told you huber wasnt assigned to do any deep state investigation but no one wanted to believe it. Facts, not hopes.
Huber's Clinton Foundation work is "winding down". Yet key witnesses haven't been interview.
And think of all the time that has been lost with no US attorney investigating FISA. That's at least 14 months without a US Attorney who of course has subpoena power and grand jury power.
I wish someone would investigate Sessions. Oh, how I despise that little man.
