The chicoms like Russia as much as the Japanese liked the Germans.
You can’t overestimate the Chinese input in having Russia curb inflation and maintaining living standards under Western sanctions since 2014 when Russian currency halved in value.
Before that time the Chinese products rarely fond their way to Russia so if anyone bought wide-screen HDTV it was $1500-2000 Japanese or European peace.
Now they opened up to China and the options you had with Walmart for $499 are available to the Russians too.
The same it true for the most of the rest of Chinese consumer goods the Americans used to but the Russians weren’t.
I can’t wait till the Russians buy escalators and elevators from the Chinese.
I’m SURE Xi would rather have the Russian Market than the US Market.
The Russians have a thirst for what China has to offer.
They can have Eachother. Let’s see how much crap Russia buys
