Pedo-Joe is trying to play the Hillary game of pretending to be the adult in the room - above the fray and gutter fighting going on among all the other candidates.
And he’s doing it for the same reason.
He has a ton of bad baggage that he doesn’t want to deal with.
Like Hillary, he hopes to rely on the debate monitors to protect him from direct attack by others on the issues where he is vulnerable.
It can be an election strategy that by not appearing at conventions or town halls he is not elevating any of his rivals to appear as his equal.
Incumbents do this all the time but it is a very risky strategy.
Agreed, especially as time passes, and some of the other 23 candidates drop out. As each lunatic lefty drops out, the primary voters that would have voted for the lunatic lefty, will find another lunatic lefty to support - their vote will not go to Biden. If they wanted what Biden was offering, they would have already been on the Creepy Joe bandwagon.

that worked for trump because it was the last primary debate ... not sure it would work for Bidn to skip the first few Dem debates ... that would make Bidn look weak and arrogant ... and Bidn definitely won’t be able to skip the Presidential debates ...
It is funny. Progressives thinking they still have a shot at the Presidency. You are up against a criminal cartel that controls DC and both parties. To break their hold of the Democratic Party, you need a Leftist Trump. Good luck with that.

The debates should be standing up for a couple hours. Let’s see if old Joe can last that long.
He’s depending a lot of time in front of a mirror practicing his lovably derisive laugh...much easier than actually learning enough to debate effectively.
Our village idiot senior senator Bob Casey Jr. is pretty much the same. Yet, he just got re-elected to his third term last November because he has (1)a famous name and (2)good handlers.
