I generally agree with what you say.
There is no reason to believe that Durham will not investigate and prosecute wrong doing. But he is starting from square one. Sessions/Rosenstein/ Huber have admitted that they have done nothing.
There is no reason to believe that Barr will do nothing. The fact that Democrats in Congress and the media are constantly attacking him makes me believe he is honest and capable.
President Trump has ordered the declassification of the documents related to the illegal activity. He has given Barr responsibility to declassify.
I do not trust Wray, Horowitz or the others. They will work to undermine any investigation and sabotage the president.
But I think things are beginning to get better.

Detective — It’s a shame that so many have criticized this good article without reading it. Margot Cleveland does solid, analytical work; she is not flashy and she does not sell bombshells.
Using Barr as her source, Cleveland is NOT expecting much from the IG report itself. Her point is that the IG process has been an excuse for preventing investigation of the coup plot. Ending the IG FISA investigation busts this roadblock; Barr already busted another by sending Mueller home. The OIG and OSC were “lawfare” schemes used to shield the plotters. Barr has also blown up Sessions’ “Huber” scam. What Cleveland says is being “unleashed” is the ability to even conduct an investigation.
I hope so, but we’re in for a long slog, with many more barriers. Wray, Congress, the CIA, and countless members of the FBI and IC will pop up legalistic roadblocks, file suits, destroy evidence, lie like rugs, try to destroy Barr, lay on the railroad tracks, or whatever to forestall justice. If the Spygate investigation were Gulliver, Barr has severed about 3 of the Lilliputians 1,000 ropes. Every journey starts somewhere, and Barr knows the game.

The problem is not that Barr is sitting around doing nothing.
The problem is that honest investigations were deliberately stopped by Wray, Rosenstein and others.
Things are starting to change. But it will not be easy.
