Exactly. If they sign a deal with Trump. They better be prepared to back it up. He’ll go full bore with the tariffs if they don’t. He might would shut the border down too if they don’t comply.

Yeah well when the line behinds the fence and the caravans disappear, I’ll believe it. He should have told them that the percentage on the tariffs go up 1% per 100 people that attempt to cross the border. Keep it to 0 and no tariffs.

"And the GOP would not back him"

With expert dealmaker Trump in the driver’s seat, lawmakers who probably have no clue how to work a deal are likely getting “carsick.”

Remember in November 2020!

MAGA!

I agree that the most important thing to our national well-being right now is building a physical barrier and getting control of our immigration and illegal population.

If we don’t do that we are sunk.

I’m too lazy to start another vanity and people would probably get pissed at me anyway. But I have to say I love President Trump continuing to win and all of the haters on the Golden State Warriors lost again tonight call it the Trump effect. I don’t care one wit about NBA basketball but all of the haters including Steve Kerr for the Warriors are about to lose the series to Toronto. I don’t know if Toronto players dislike President Trump as much as the Golden State Warriors dislike him but it does put another smile on my face and a cherry on top of the ice cream.

What about all the Mexicans that illegally come across our border, and the (tens) of millions of Mexicans who are illegally already here in the U.S. (not to mention the millions of Central Americans who are already here)?

Yes, that’s exactly right.

He was making a deal, and the cheap seat Adonises were carping since he presented to motivating plan to raise Tariffs.

I think the thing that really shook Mexico up, was the part where if nothing is done, the tariffs would go up another 5% each month. (I believe it was 5%, perhaps a different figure) Still it was a great motivator.

Honestly, this is something that never occurred to me.

Excellent tactic.

Seems to.

None of us really want tariffs, but they are great motivators when you’re holding all the cards.

You truly think we live in a free market? We are an extremely over regulated, Government leveraged, overtaxed market. If Government truly got the hell out of the way, stopped corporate taxes and allowed a true free market to thrive only then would we be a free market.

Want to build a manufacturing plant? The Government will tell you where, when, how large it can be, what would not be acceptable, hold onto dozens of permits, tax each and every entity along the way and then tell you in essence what you can and cannot do within your business.
