BlazeTV host and conservative comedian, Steven Crowder, published a video Monday responding to YouTube's decision last week to demonetize his videos even after admitting that he had not violated community standards, and he offered his gratitude for the outpouring of support from viewers.
"I'm not sorry," Steven said. "I'll tell you what I am though. I am grateful. I am really grateful for the outpouring of support we've seen from people."
Catch the rest of what Steven has to say in the video below:
I support him, but it’s too bad he cut ties with Owen Benjamin, who now seems to have been far-sighted:
You can’t bargain with what’s coming.
Sharia?
YouTube may think that they’ve got a handle on dissolving all of these ‘others’, but I would suggest that YouTube’s days of profit are coming rapidly to an end.
You tell ‘em, Crowder. Stand firm.
This isn’t a anti-gay thing. I don’t care who’s shacking up with whom. But I am not willing to cede ground that gays, trannies, etc. represent the cultural norms in our society as so much in the criminal media would have us believe. They just happen to be a very loud fringe group.
Profit is nice, they think. But what I think they’re really after much more than profit is CONTROL.
And their view is that we’re now OUT of control.
I mean out of THEIR control. And they think that’s bad.
I think especially the past 3 years have gone far towards them making them more comfortable with the idea of us being aware of this new effort to re-establish their control.
Part of which involves re-imposition of a media monopoly, or some kind of arrangement that broadly reflects that.
Obviously they’d prefer for this remonopolization process to pass unnoticed, the better to avoid the appearance of victimes & martyrs, but if push comes to shove they’re okay with us being aware of it.
Think of the preceeding two decades as being a kind of New Rennaissance, and then this now is a kind of China-ization, sans chopsticks.
Google and YouTube are anti-American companies. They do not value her laws or traditions and should be treated and shunned as such.
Do not use them - do not allow them to track you.
They are the same company.
Google/YouTube could have a problem if its patents are being implemented in such a way to deny usage to the public.
Nope.
It’s good that Crowder cut ties with the poor, unbalanced Owen Benjamin. The fellow ruined his career by becoming a raving, anti-Semitic nut-case, railing against the Jews for all the ills of the world. Not nearly as subtle as you, but certainly much braver.
“But I am not willing to cede ground that gays, trannies, etc. represent the cultural norms in our society...”
If they do represent the norm, then we should be able to make fun of them with impunity. Either they are some weird minority that needs special protections or they are normal and don’t need any special protection. Can’t have it both ways.
Technically and logistically theyre not. Yes - theyre owned by the same megacorp (Alphabet) and at once time YouTube was a subset of Google but now theyre both equal subsidiaries (that could be broken off apart at a moments notice)
Agreed but as you and I both know they are precisely wanting to have it both ways. They want to be considered mainstream desperately but God help anyone if we question why they need a parade to show off their gayness.
