(San Francisco) – Project Veritas has learned that the brave insider at Pinterest who exposed their methods of censoring conservative and religious content has been fired. This morning, Project Veritas published documents and an interview with the insider showing how Pinterest banned Live Action, suppresses Christian terms, and censors other pro-life content.

Despite great risk, the insider displayed incredible courage and helped expose one of the largest tech censorship stories of 2019.

In our first interview with the insider, he told Veritas the following:

“I think when public policies don’t match with how social media companies are actually implementing them, people have a right to know, people have a right to that transparency. And the thing is one person can make all the difference… one person can bring transparency to big tech.”

I have an account there full of political cartoons, mostly from Arcamax comics and Pookies toons.

Over the past year they have wiped out three of my boards, the last being titled “Conservatives”, charging that it had elements of “hate speech”. I had the stuff backed up so am slowly reloading.

What ticks me off is that they start their notice of censorship with a breezy “Hi X, we’ve deleted . . .”. Their email has a noreply, so you can’t tell them about the horse they rode in on.

Haha...what I mean is pinterest isn’t the place you go for news or current events. At least in my experience. Maybe what rolls through my feed caters to what I look for but I can’t imagine why someone would be looking to pinterest for things like politics when it seems to be mostly directed towards ideas on how to decorate your home, new recipes and craft ideas. The “feed” is little boxes of images. It’s not like twitter or facebook.
In fact now that I think of it, I get quite a bit of Catholic saint images too from having pinned some Catholic celebration ideas.

I know why I hate Pinterest. Whenever you search for images using Safari on an iPhone and the. click on an search result from Pinterest to see the full image, the shit site will only show you the results if you have their CRAPTASTIC app on your phone.

I didn’t either. All I’ve seen is pictures and more pictures. Then again, I’m confused how it works.

I decided to start a new Pinterest folder of conservative stuff to test it out. I just searched there for “Breitbart quotes”. Results - one picture of Breitbart, one Andrew Breitbart quote that could be taken as negative against the right, and images with quotes from the likes of Nipsey Hussle, John Brennan, and other non-conservatives.

I had no idea this nonsense is on Pinterest too. It’s the only “social media” account I have. I collect pictures of gardens, corgis, some recipes. Just foolishness, fun photos.
