Good point, if its clear he won't survive the primary, I could see Amash announce he's quitting Congress and running for President as the Losertarian nominee. He wants to maintain a national profile and getting defeated for re-election would damage him politically.

And if he does go Losertarian I expect him to abandon any "true conservative" views he now has like claiming to be pro-life. Bob Barr was much more of a traditional conservative than this screwball and it didn't stop Barr from chucking out every conservative "principles" overnight and going full Paultard to get the Losertarian nomination.

And then after all that, Barr tried to sneak back into Congress again as a “Conservative Republican” in 2014. Thankfully, Barry Loudermilk stomped him 2-to-1 in the runoff.
