How do you prove this is Iranians and not instead agents of a country (take your pick) that would like to see the U.S. attack Iran?

From an evidentary standpoint, the video proves only that the Iran Revolutionary Guard removed a mine from the vessel; it does not prove that it placed the mine in the first instance.

Yes it does. Every limpet mine ever built has anti-removal devices built in. If you try to pry it off without going through an elaborate process of deactivation, BOOM.

Only folks who understand that mine 100% (who built and placed it) are just going to cruise up and snatch it off.
