The foundation for the Russian election interference narrative is built on the claim of Russians hacking the servers of the Democrat National Committee (DNC), and subsequently releasing damaging emails that showed the DNC worked to help Hillary Clinton and eliminate Bernie Sanders.
Despite the Russian ‘hacking’ claim the DOJ previously admitted the DNC would not let FBI investigators review the DNC server. Instead the DNC provided the FBI with analysis of a technical review done through a cyber-security contract with Crowdstrike.

CrowdStrike is part of the DNC machine.

So true. Snowden revealed the massive web at the disposal of these agencies to get you or relatives due to their ability to get anything at anytime to take someone down.

There was no “hacking”. They selected that word because most people’s idea of how that happens is from a Sandra Bullock movie from 25 years ago. The word scares older people. The information that ended up on Wikileaks was obtained internally. Podesta’s emails were not “hacked” either. It looks like he gave his password to the Crown Prince of Liberia or something. It’s frightening that there are 10 year old children with greater awareness of cyber threats than our “leaders”.
Several years ago, there was a news release about the ability to hack a computer and leave evidence that would make it appear as if the Russians had done it. Now, we never hear of this.

Well they did see the reports (3 of them) and they were told that although marked “draft” they saw the final version.
The most interesting thing is the reports were redacted and the FBI accepted that.

Heck even the Sunday shows were all chattering about the 17 agencies and their finds. The media would then systematically berate anyone that challenged them.
Funny thing is that the 17 agencies were never identified. I always thought, who are these 17 agencies? I never found out.

No. I believe you have it right. The 900 files held by Clinton held info on elected individual in the Congress.
That info is now closing in on 30 yrs old and it’s value has lessoned over time substantially I would think.
