Relocation is always a possibility when you’re a Fed. My friend’s husband is being relocated from Virginia to Huntsville, Alabama. My friend works for a different agency where there are no jobs available.
He could choose not to go, and he would be free to seek employment elsewhere. He understands it.
These folks need to grow up.
My son works for the fed govt in the Dept of Labor. His dept of the DOL - concerning coal-mining - is located in the heart of coal country. Makes sense to me.
