Come on stop being naive like most everyone on this thread. Most in the black community don’t care. Most rationalize that many young black men are unfairly charged with crimes and past charges are false or trumped up. They don’t care about whites that support the police; that’s just another proof of racism.
BLM feeds off all of this and you’re being played by being outraged. I’m sure they’re looking for examples of what they consider as racist posts and report back to their base and say, “see I told you so, they’re still racists”.

The funny thing about incarceration rates is that for any serious matter that is decided by a jury there essentially must be black jurors.
Since it takes 100% to convict the upshot is that black jurors are perfectly willing to vote to convict ... which falsifies the racism point.
The sort of talking points that BLM depends on demand that the bad old days never went away, lumps juries of 50 years ago with juries of today, and cops of 50 years ago with cops of today ... nothing changes in the narrative, blacks must always be and remain oppressed ... even if they need to hold up criminals or hire others to fake it ... if that sustains the narrative then may the narrative be found true and every white man be found a liar.

What we have is a classic half truth. Yes blacks have high incarceration rates, but as you’ve explained they likely have had as fair a jury trial as non blacks.
I imagine that BLM would counter that the public defenders are bogus resulting in higher conviction rates, bad plea deals. So that won’t change anything and counter arguments will be dismissed.
I would counter that blacks on juries know who black criminals prey upon and are sick of their shit. Then I’d ask proverbial Mr.BLM why he’s not sick of their shit too?

He shot a man 5 times in Mississippi. Not a Choir boy, had other warrants to boot. Pulled a gun on a Federal Marshall, and most of he Police Force in Memphis is Black. They want it that way, rig it that way.
I imagine there’s nothing like being in a riot anywhere.
