Most young people are ignorant and unaware of it, but when it comes to socialism they go hog wild about it. Especially when we have institutions like Oberlin College and there are many more, who like to instill all kinds of liberal garbage into young heads full of mush along with some of their faculty who think it is just fine when some of their students rip off some merchandise. And when the owner of the shop takes a stand, they call it racially motivated. Whoever runs this school, instead of trying to ruin this business could have just as well told these guilty students, cut this crap, go back and apologize and pay for the stolen items. But this probably never entered their convoluted liberal thought process.

No. With our own energy plus what we can import from Canada and Mexico, we no longer need the Middle East. If the flow of oil from the Middle East were cut off, Europe, China and Japan would suffer greatly. We could get by OK.
The Japanese can get Alaskan oil. Help them out. If we let the moozlems kill each other somebody will take the oil. It’s like treasure at the bottom of the ocean surrounded by sharks. Who’s gonna risk it?
Yes. Operation Tidal Wave. The follow on campaign against Ploesti by the 15th Air Force based in Italy was long and bloody for both sides. Ultimately, Ploesti was flattened as were the oil fields in Hungary near Lake Balaton from which Hitler got about 10% of his oil. Then they moved on to flattening his synthetic oil plants - which they did.
I watched a special on one of those raids. I think it was the first one. Anyway, some of the boys got lost and when they found the target they were flying every which way to drop their loads. The Germans couldnt figure out WTH was going on.
I guess some dam near come to hitting each other in the air.
And it was the strategy of Gen. Carl Spaatz that went after Germany’s oil production and storage infrastructure that helped realize that plan.
