The problem with this line of thinking is that kids toys are nowhere mentioned in the Constitution whereas the right to keep and bear arms *is* mentioned...as is a guarantee that the right to do so "shall not be infringed".

So,Tom....a Constitutional amendment is the answer.But fear not,pal...38 state legislatures will be a piece of cake given the universal clamor for a gun free nation that you claim exists!

No offense but, IMO, the problem w/ YOUR line of thinking is the premise of “if it’s NOT in the Constitution, govt can do XYZ”

In your example, we then get into the questions of A) Define toy B) age limits there-of C) WHO sets ‘standards’...etc. IOW: An never ending ‘industry’ of govt GROWTH and Citizen/Rights trampling
