BTW, I knew several Hells Angels guys back in the ‘80s, and they were great patriotic people. (Although I guess that isn’t always the case.)
If you didn't let them run security at your wedding celebration then you were okay. The Rolling Stones at Altamont thought the Angels here were like the British counterparts who were easygoing fun loving and not violent.
The real culprit at Altamont was an armed black man in a shiny suit who threatened to kill the crowd of whites and the Rolling Stones while high. Meredith Hunter,Jr. He waved a gun. Not the Angels' fault. Leftist writers try to smooth over the fact he was black, violent,agitated and on drugs. Doesn't work. I've read 5 books on it plus many articles. He was guilty.
