In German, the term for “Concentration Camps” was originally applied to prison camps that were created for political opponents of the Hitler regime.
From memory, almost 100,000 Germans were arrested and brutally treated. Many thousands died from mistreatment or summary executions.
Concentration Camps for European Jews were created about five years later.
It sounds like a good idea to me. In Hungary, they put them in shipping containers. Make it as unpleasant as possible to convince them to go home.
