Let france fight for their pipelines and let the Sunnis fight for whatever. Leave us out, completely, no taxpayer dollars, no more military intervention until France ans SA have been annihilated by Iran.

That being said Iran is openly admitting to destroying a very expensive US asset. That cannot go unanswered. I’d say a dozen or so missile strikes against their military ports sounds about right. Follow that with a few of their subs vanishing without a trace.
Pay particular attention to the RG barracks, especially the Officers quarters. Create a few vacancies at the O level.
We can do these things from stand-off distances without putting a single boot on the ground.

I’m really sorry to have to say this but you must be an idiot. How can we stand by and let little countries just destroy our military equipment. It is obvious they want a military action they bombed, mined or torpedoed two ships in the straits.
I hope the President does something like sink all their ships and blows up all their planes for a start. After those actions tell them more is to come if they don’t show up at a talking table in 24 hours with the person or persons responsible for shooting our plane out of the sky and bombing the tankers.
