Lots of room for doubt here. Why so long in coming forward? Assuming no autopsy was performed, there is no way to prove exactly what was the cause of death. Conflicting stories of witnesses cast further doubt. All of these details add up to one sure thing. That sure thing is that when we send our finest young people to deal with war, something we cannot do ourselves nor want to do, we have washed our hands of knowing the HOW they did it. That’s right. War is hell and those not present forfeit the privilege of asking how victory is accomplished.
It is enough to cause doubt though ain’t it.
