I firmly agree. I’ve actually watched people and conversations morph. I am actually watching myself become more racist as I continue to try to fight it. But it hit me in the elevator this morning that it is very selective.

I was talking to a black woman as we both walked from our cars to the building. We got along great and her race was not an issue at all. I just saw her as another person.

But it falls into something I realized a couple of decades ago regarding how I see people in the office. That is, I see most of the men and women in the office as just people. But some women, I see as “women” and some men I see as “men”. I’m not talking about sexual attractiveness. It’s just that they send a vibe that they are the sex they are in sometimes unidentifiable ways, and somethimes they don’t at all.

I’m noticing it with people of various races as well. Some black people I see as BLACK people, and some I just see as people. It happens with the indians that I work with as well.

Bottom line is that I’m not racist, but I am culturist. that is really all it means. And I’ve seen myself as a culturist for decades. It’s just that now I can consciously see how it affects how I look at people.

Who funded the team of researchers?

Yes, that is the interesting, but unanswered question.

The team is The Plain View Project:

The Plain View Project was founded by Emily Baker-White, an attorney and graduate of Harvard Law School. She told CNN the idea came from something she saw during her fellowship at the Federal Community Defender Office in Philadelphia.
My guess is she plans on using the research in a bunch of "civil-rights" lawsuits.

Whatever you post on FB is taken as absolute, proven truth. You can’t deny something that is written in black and white. Knowing that Big Brother is searching through your postings, don’t post anything that you don’t want to see on tomorrow’s paper’s front page.

Post about how nice your dog is, etc.

That’s what I’m afraid will happen. The absence of evidence will be a crime in itself.

https://www.amren.com/news/2014/09/ten-percent-is-not-enough/

...For almost 150 years the United States has been conducting an experiment. The subjects of the experiment: black people and working-class whites. The hypothesis to be tested: Can a people taken from the jungles of Africa and forced into slavery be fully integrated as citizens in a majority white population?
...The experiment has failed. Not because of culture, or white privilege, or racism. The fundamental problem is that white people and black people are different. They differ intellectually and temperamentally. These differences result in permanent social incompatibility.
...Our rulers don’t seem to understand just how tired their white subjects are with this experiment. They don’t understand that white people aren’t out to get black people; they are just exhausted with them. They are exhausted by the social pathologies, the violence, the endless complaints, the blind racial solidarity, the bottomless pit of grievances, the excuses, the reflexive animosity. The elites explain everything with “racism,”

Fagbook strikes again and the PC cops love the people that participate in this social media experience.

This persecution won’t be limited to social media. The next step will be the Brett Kavanaugh treatment - anyone with a grudge against a cop will come out of the woodwork saying: “I was at a party 20 years ago, where I heard Officer ____ tell a racially insensitive joke.”

Does the first amendment not apply?

Not if you are white male.

Then you are subject to the leftist propaganda machine and will be summarily singled out.

“Most blacks just hate whites. I’m convinced of this.”

I have been impressed with the professionalism of black clerks I am dealing with at Lowe’s, ACE, Walmart, and my various suppliers. No problems. This, however, was not the case when Obama was president. Then, I often met with what is called in my neck of the woods, “the ‘tude.” (Meaning attitude.) But with a high level of black employment and their empowerment under Trump, things have radically changed. I no longer feel defensive when I have to deal with blacks in my small town. Nice change.

Accorting to The Plain View Project web site:
The Plain View Project is a database of public Facebook posts and comments made by current and former police officers from several jurisdictions across the United States.

We present these posts and comments because we believe that they could undermine public trust and confidence in our police. In our view, people who are subject to decisions made by law enforcement may fairly question whether these online statements about race, religion, ethnicity and the acceptability of violent policing—among other topics—inform officers’ on-the-job behaviors and choices.

To be clear, our concern is not whether these posts and comments are protected by the First Amendment. Rather, we believe that because fairness, equal treatment, and integrity are essential to the legitimacy of policing, these posts and comments should be part of a national dialogue about police.

Ballard Spahr is also reviewing each post to determine if the speech is constitutionally protected.

"An example would be an opinion on the matter of public concern that may be unpopular but does not include threats of violence or pejorative language against any protected class," Ross said. "If the speech is not protected by the First Amendment, the case will proceed with appropriate discipline."

Are there "endangered classes", too?

> Does the first amendment not apply? If not, why not? <

I’m no lawyer. But I believe it does not apply. The 1A protects you from the government. In general, the government cannot persecute you because of what you said.

The 1A does not protect you from your employer. So, for example, suppose you work at a Ford dealership. And you tell a customer that old joke: FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily.

The 1A will not protect you if the management decides to fire or demote you.

Its just the beginning. I’m sure they have a boatload of info.

This will set new legal precedents.
