what did Nancy give up in return?

what did Nancy give up in return? Nothing yet, I presume, since she just asked for the delay.
Here's how this is playing out.
- Trump announces sweeping deportations of people who have been served final notices by a federal judge.
- The MSM typically mischaracterizes this as "sweeping," "cruel," "inhumane," etc.
- Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez likens it to the Holocaust.
- Pundits twist themselves into a pretzel to keep the Democrats from sounding stupid, but YOU have to agree to be the stupid one for this to work.
- This time, the Nazi blowback sticks to Democrats. They overreached in their rhetoric.
- The House submits a border bill that is more accommodative of the needs of illegals after crossing the border than it is preventative of illegals to cross the border.
- Pelosi calls for a time-out.
- Now... Trump gets to call what comes next Pelosi's fault if it fails because she's the one who asked for the delay.
- Pelosi is now in the spotlight to make good on her request for a delay by giving Trump some real money for a border wall instead of the nickel-and-diming with prohibitive conditions like she did the last time.
- If Pelosi whiffs on this, Trump will resume the border round-ups and blame it on Pelosi's failure to get her caucus in line.
- Democrat border-state governors have been coming around admitting that there is a serious crisis at the border.
- Trump would probably accept spending on more family facilities, more processing resources, etc., as long as it is matched with real wall spending and not a token bone to Trump. This time, Trump has to hold Pelosi's feet to the fire to get what he wants, once and for all.
