Amazing comments here by Trey Gowdy on Sunday Morning Futures. Maria has the best show on TV. I know a lot of Freepers do not like Trey, they thought he was ineffective, He was my Rep here in SC. He said time and time again that DC was rotten to the core.

Not sure if I heard about FR from Rush or Drudge. I know I got the link from Drudge and it wasn’t called Free Republic - it was Whitewater something I think.
Heard about FR while on the NewsMax Forum in the late 90s. Only had WebTV and found it difficult to navigate until Jim changed something on the site.
OMG I LOVED web TV nice big screen I wonder why they don’t have that anymore!!! I used to always visit FR on web TV!!!
Watched Not Without My Daughter recently for the second time. It’s an incredible movie. I felt such relief and joy when she finally saw an American Flag.
Back in the day the articles were presented in frames. Maybe that was your problem.
I used it here from 04 to 06. A power surge fried my box and that’s when I found out that MSN had taken over. Bought the MSN box and KB and had nothing but problems. Finally broke down and got a ‘puter.
Possibly, I don’t know.
I just know that when I heard about buckhead on either Powerline or LGF I gave FR another try and you poor souls have been stuck with me ever since.
I was on vacation in San Diego during that epic time, and followed the superscripted "th" scandal on the for-pay Internet computer in the lobby of the Kings Inn San Diego, plucking quarters into the machine long after the family had retired to our room. (The computer was adjacent to the Amigo Spot bar, a definite blessing!)

Gowdy talks so good, but I have yet to remember a single thing he actually accomplished.
When I had to buy the new box and KB from MSN, the KB had a problem. After much phone back and forth, MSN admitted they had a run of bad KBs that encompassed mine. Then they said they couldn’t send me a new one as they needed a “REAL” address and my Route xxx-Box yyy didn’t qualify. Again much phone back and forth where MSN kept saying my address “kicked back.” Finally they found their problem and said I would receive one in a week.
A week later I got my KB. The next day I got another...and two more in the afternoon. Next day I got three. Evidently their attempts to mail me one had not really “kicked back.” When I called them about it they wanted me to open each box, remove and affix the return label, re-seal the box and send them back. I (stupidly) did this, but over the next few days I got three more.....I ended up just throwing them out.
A couple of months later I started having other issues with MSNTVnet and I just said “the hell with ‘em” and got a computer.
I liked the idea of internet access without needing a whole computer. If there was such an item today for just email, surfing and photo storage, since that’s all I use my computer for anyway, I’d buy it.
In the spirit of historian James Burke’s famous TV series “Connections”, here’s a little historical tidbit for you. The same “bad, evil” King Xerxes who wanted to conquer the “good noble” Greeks was also the “good” Persian King Ahasuerus the Bible refers to in the Book of Daniel, who granted the appeal from his Hebrew wife Esther to spare her fellow Hebrews, as celebrated in the Feast of Purim.
I have enjoyed all the info on the Persians and the Greeks.
Many Greeks today live on welfare and don’t work.

Joke Tapper got caught lying a number of times in the interview. Inferring the Russian collusion was the reason Trump won. Trying to say there was no voter fraud and Trump shut him down with the million votes in CA. What a sleazeball.
And that is the problem with GoWdy,is he deep state, we don know,,,
