Trey Gowdy suggested that the FBI gave preferential treatment to Hillary Clinton's campaign in 2016 when advising the presidential candidates on how to deal with the threat posed by foreign actors.
During a Sunday interview on Fox News, Gowdy referenced how the campaigns of both Clinton and then-candidate Donald Trump received counterintelligence "defensive" briefings, but claimed they were not the same. Gowdy said the FBI provided "two different kinds of defensive briefings to candidates depending on who you like and who you don't," and coupled with how the FBI withheld transcript material from the FISA court, "then your bias begins to impact the investigation."

Yawn. Trey “Act like your innocent” Gowdy had all this info while he was a sitting member of Congress. And what did he do? Made no mention of it while he made the rounds on Democrat media undermining POTUS on the eve of the 2018 midterms.
I saw him near the end of Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo (6/23/2019) on a YouTube channel.
He remembers a lot from his time on the committees, but Devin Nunez KNOWS a lot more because he is still serving us well as one of our SWAMP watchdogs

He was one of the folks assigned to make it look like someone was holding the other side to account without actually causing any real harm to the other side. He did it well. he will be well rewarded I’m sure.

Gowdy said he didn’t change his view of the Mueller investigation until after he saw the FBI transcripts of Papadopoulos recordings.
Mark Meadows was calling for the release of the transcripts on October 31, 2018. So it it safe to speculate, they weren’t released until after the election.
From what I gathered during the 2nd presidential debate, Martha Raddatz must have been present at the Hillary defense briefings prior to that debate...and maybe a few briefings after as well.
In all fairness to Mr. Gowdy - warts and all -
Consider that his Speaker was Paul oozing-with-SWAMP-muck Ryan who would never lift a finger to hurt HIS pals on the other side.
You can bet your bottom dollar that had Meadows, deSantis, Nunes, Meadows, Gohmert and (yes) Gowdy tried a take-down move on any of the co-conspirators on O’Bungler’s Team, Speaker Ryan would have cut them in half.
