Leading 2020 Democrats Unified on Amnesty for Illegals Ahead of Debate

Ahead of the first debate for 2020 Democrat presidential primary contenders, the leading Democrats among the pack of 24 candidates all effectively share the same views on immigration as they demand amnesty for all illegal aliens and more legal immigration to the U.S. to satisfy the needs of big business. From slogans like “Diversity is our strength” to claims that the U.S. is a “nation of immigrants,” the top three Democrat candidates largely agree on wanting to expand rights to all illegal aliens, driving more legal immigration to the country beyond the current annual total of about 1.2 million, and denouncing President Trump’s high-wage, low-immigration economic model.

Here, Breitbart News breaks down the immigration stances among former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) before they hit the debate stage this week:

In a Miami Herald op-ed this week, Biden released his blueprint for America’s immigration system which begins by declaring that the 3.5 million illegal aliens who are enrolled and eligible for President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program “are Americans.”

“We are a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants … that starts by recognizing that DREAMers are Americans, and Congress needs to make it official,” Biden wrote. ‘The millions of undocumented people in the United States can only be brought out of the shadows through fair treatment, not ugly threats.”

Aside from giving amnesty to all illegal aliens, Biden said it is the “obligation” of Americans to provide all illegal aliens with free healthcare.

Biden has also supported the President George W. Bush-era policy that states “any willing worker” should be allowed to come to the U.S. to compete against America’s working and middle class for jobs.

Not at all. This is a very rational strategy. Democrats cannot win on their political philosophy and agenda. They can only win by doing two things:

1. import voters (illegal immigrants)

2. Offer free stuff for anything who will vote for them.

The Democrats do not care about the Constitution, fairness, America, or Patriotism. They only care about political power and they are willing to do anything to get it.

My people left Ireland in 1854 and came here to America. My late mothers great-grandfather served first as an Army medical orderly in what our family history describes as “The Oklahoma Territory’’ I believe he served at Ft. Sill. In 1864 he was serving in a high ranking position as a medical administrator in DC for The Surgeon Generals Office. There was no Ellis Island or ICE or INS in the 1850's but my people didn't sneak in. As was the practice they paid passage on a ship to America. They fought in this nations wars from The Civil War to WW1, WW2 and Korea. They never took a dime in charity, didn't expect it but gave it as good Christians. These border jumping, arrogant beggars deserve a boot in the ass back to the countries they screwed up and ran away from.

How did one become an American citizen back then?

I never thought about the pre Ellis Island days and how folks became citizens.

Thanks. I'm not sure really how citizenship was invoked in the 19th. century.People born here knew they were natural born citizens. Those who arrived as my people did usually were impressed upon to register to vote as that would convey a sense of citizenship. I'm not really sure myself. If I remember from high school history class Ellis Island and the harbor of New York being the largest port of entry was really the first attempt at managing the influx of people arriving here in what was called "The Great European Migration'''.

Interesting, right? Seems like you had to be able to get here and then fight for your LIFE to survive, like the Irish at the 5 points, and I guess you are right, registering to vote put your name to paper.

I looked it up and you nailed it. First immigration law wasn’t until After the Civil War.

I guess if you could Survive coming here, you earned being a citizen!!

Moderators will work to make democrats look acceptable to voters. NO fights like moderators tried to gin up with 17 Republicans were on stage. No 'the press' is part of the democrat team... and it'll show...
