It’s funny. We lived in Bavaria for three years, and I didn’t hear about those darn pickles till we had been home for a long time. I never saw green pickle ornaments at the Christmas markets either. But I did see and buy the lucky mushroom ornaments that were red with white dots. LOL!

I did too, for the most part. But my brother and I had to study them for new fight or fast draw moves. LOL!

My brother and I didn’t have cowboy/cowgirl outfits and none of our friends did either so we didn’t need to learn the cool moves.

Sleep well. I hope your temps are staying out of the triple digits.

We had a quiet, storm-free day at last but the chances for afternoon pop-up storms will be with us every day for the next week or more. We’re in that summertime pattern.

Nice to see I’m not the only one who called it a strange tradition. LOL

I LOVE those “carrot-cake” sandwich cookie!! We don’t have them very often.

And the chocolate chip cookie ones aren’t bad either.

We found that the little people really love them too, but we have to keep an eye on them so they don't eat too many at one time.   (We noticed that "Oreo" has also come out now with a "Carrot-Cake Sandwich Cookie", but it doesn't have that thick creamy icing filler like the Walmart ones do.)

Haven't tried those Walmart chocolate chip ones yet, but I'll have to grab some of them in the future.
