I was far from a girlie girl too. Was a tomboy because there weren’t any girls my age for a long time in the neighborhood where I grew up. Only boys my age.

I only took Home Ec because I had to. I learned more about cooking and sewing from Mom, who was a great cook and excellent seamstress.
But I still don’t care about doing either one. LOL! I cook because I really don’t like eating out all that much but I don’t remember the last time I sewed. It’s a shame I hate to sew because there was so much nice fabric in Clara’s house.

I never liked or even knew how to play dolls. I got them for Christmas, but they sat in my room. But the year my brother and I got Roy Rogers and Dale Evans gun/hat/scarf sets? I was in heaven!
