That’s an odd little Christmas tradition. Good thing the pickle was glass in case no one found it. LOL
It’s funny. We lived in Bavaria for three years, and I didn’t hear about those darn pickles till we had been home for a long time. I never saw green pickle ornaments at the Christmas markets either. But I did see and buy the lucky mushroom ornaments that were red with white dots. LOL!
