Iran delivered half a ton of explosives in diplomatic suitcases to Paris for jihad terror attack JUN 25, 2019 11:00 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER

This is the regime that the Democrats are eagerly working with in order to undermine the President of the United States.

“Iran attempted attack in Paris, half a ton of explosives found – report,” by Yasser Okbi, Jerusalem Post, June 24, 2019:

Half a ton of explosives was brought to Paris in a diplomatic suitcases in order to carry out a terror attack, before being foiled by French authorities, it was reported in the British media.

The British newspaper “Independent in Arabic” quoted an intelligence source as saying that in 2018 Iran had delivered half a ton of TATP explosives in diplomatic packages to a civilian plane that was supposed to be transferred to Paris to carry out an attack in the city.

According to the report, the plane arrived from Tehran to Geneva in June 2018, following an Iranian plan to carry out a terrorist attack during a meeting of the Iranian opposition. According to a report based on intelligence sources, the attack was supposed to be carried out by an Iranian intelligence official who worked at the Iranian embassy in Austria since 2014, but French intelligence thwarted the attack after the authorities arrested a Belgian couple of Iranian origin who had the explosives in their car on their way to Paris.

A Western intelligence source said the intelligence official visited Tehran on July 20, 2018, where he received TATP explosives. On June 22, he transferred explosives in a civilian plane from Tehran to Austria on flight OS872, when the material was delivered in a diplomatic suitcase aboard the Airbus A320. The plane had 240 passengers.

The source added that the transfer of the explosives into a civilian plane constitutes a clear and blatant blow to all international treaties related to security in international aviation, for if it enters into strong pockets of air, the plane would explode in the air. The source referred to the Russian plane that exploded shortly after taking off from the Sharm el-Sheikh airport in Egypt three years ago, and all 244 passengers aboard were killed by an explosive charge weighing half a kilogram of TNT

Iran wants a war and it doesn’t seem to matter who it’s with.

I’m sorry, but in this day and age I believe that’s the way it is.

Hope you learned something, France. That’s what you get for being so hostile and unwelcoming to Muslims. Maybe you should try being a little more accommodating, a little more accepting of their presence in your country. Reach out, France. Show them how much you respect and admire their ways and customs. In fact, just turn your whole country over to them. Surely, that will convince them to not blow you to smithereens.

Thank you for your comment about probably not suitcases, but diplomatic pouches that can be huge.

I was smelling fake news.

A half ton of explosives is a little over 450 kg. The density of pure hydrogen peroxide (the principal ingredient in TATP) has a density of 1,442.5 kg per cubic meter. So that would be 0.312 cubic meters (or more if less dense stuff) and is a little over 11 cubic feet. That is about 4 suitcases each weighing about 250 pounds.

So considering all things, maybe 8 to 10 suitcases each around 100 pounds. So that would be a large amount of suitcases in any airport.

You are correct. As a former Pouch Groch at State, I handled pouch and USPS for over eight years - probably 2-4% of routine duties. It can be lonely work boxing it up for shipment and then you take to the airport with our dip clearances to go down to the tarmac and under the belly of the plane.... and return to post.

The US Embassy provides USPS Post Office and Classified Support for State and to tenant organizations of which there can be many from the USG.

They were the country that allowed Kommanni the meanie to oust the Shaw of Iran - it is poetic justice in many ways. Their Arab Total-Elf Fina oil ventures are always underhanded dealing with dictators to get oil below market price to fund the socialism of France. If their oil deals were all at the market rate dictators could not defraud the peoples of their nation’s under the French Jack Boot. Germany and Italy were just as bad sending all matter of nuclear technology to Iran in spite of the embargo for years and year. It will take a hundred years to clean up the mess in Europe, if ever, and only if you can get the socialist cancer out of their government.

The USA can easily dispense with all diplomatic exceptions regarding Iranian “diplomatic pouches”.
