Ayoola 'AJ' Ajayi, 31, is a person of interest in the case of missing University of Utah student Mackenzie Lueck

The former Army IT specialist owns the Salt Lake City home police searched yesterday in connection to the case

Ajayi listed a mattress and box spring for sale for free on selling website LetGo five days ago, which Salt Lake City Police are now trying to find

Ajayi was employed by the Army as an Information Technology Specialist for nearly two years before leaving in June 2016, according to his LinkedIn

Sorority member Lueck disappeared after taking a Lyft car on June 17 from the airport to a park located just five miles from Ajayi's home

DailyMail.com exclusively revealed on Wednesday that Lueck is a 'sugar baby' who sought out men over the age of 35 online

Article was short on important facts.

“He was employed...”

Soldier or contractor?

If soldier, what rank?

Maybe he sent it off to some immigrant detention facility. Just tryin’ to help out, once he heard that Wayfair was not going to fill the order.

You’d think an IT guy would know that.
***************************
I suspect he was a “specialist” who likely had to have help from others to do his job. Just a hunch from past experience.

That’s because of the ‘person of interest’ isn’t a right wing white supremacist..................

True. But he has to transport it.

It won’t fit in a Hyundai coupe.

Same with the box spring. Especially both at the same time.

If guilty, he should be hanged after a dishonorable discharge.

And if found not to be involved, the cloud of doubt will forever hang over his head............

We don't need any information on "persons of interests" since the ramifications can destroy their lives even if they are found innocent.

Remember Richard Jewell?

[If they find the mattress with the tags torn off, he’s really gonna be in trouble.]

I’m with the mattress police. There are no tags on these mattresses. I’m afraid I’m gonna have to take you downtown. /Back when he was funny

Seeing how he only served two years, I'm guessing something happened that prematurely ended his military career.

And earlier threads were trying to blame Lyft.

I meant to add, it also gives him a “plausible explanation” for having a mattress and box spring removed from his home. And perhaps the purchase of a new one. He runs an AirBNB so he needed a new mattress...yeah, that’s the ticket.

Of course, even the LetGo app will give some indication as to where the old one went.

She’s dead. The cops know it. Or have already come to that as the likely conclusion.

They were searching the property last night, and according to a local Salt Lake news source, were very interested in a fire pit there. Neighbors reported seeing a bonfire there last week.

Could be just a terminology gaffe by the media. Being employed and serving has two different meanings to me. He may have served an enlistment contract, separated from the Army and took a civil service job employed as an IT specialist working for the Army.

Heh, I put a queen size mattress and box spring on Craigslist years back. Pretty good condition except the webbing on the box spring (on the bottom side) needed to be re-stapled.

Had replaced it with a King-size.

I wondered what I could get. So I threw them both out there for $40. Should have asked a little more.

It was gone in no time. Most responses I’ve ever had to a Craigslist ad (I sold off a few items). And immediately. First day, within hours. Multiple responses.

“Another probably disturbed young girl who underestimated the risk in the real world.”

Probably amoral rather than disturbed. But you’re right about her underestimating risk. There’s a long history of prostitutes being murdered, and Sugar Babies is nothing more than glorified prostitution.

Uh oh. They did that one on Forensic Files, too. He forgot to take the key to her apartment out of her pocket. The key survived the fire. AND fit her door and unlocked it.

In another episode, even some bone fragments survived the fire. (different case)

No, he just worked for the Army as a contractor. Not everyone employed by the armed forces actually enlists. They also hire IT guys, engineers, etc, from the private sector.

Yes, enough now that I am sure he did it.

Not yet enough to convict in court but basically sure.
