The ability of the South Koreans to go about their business without obsessing about the border is fascinating.
It’s a small country, yet, despite a hostile adversary next door, they have built one of the strongest and largest economies in the world.
Meanwhile, the DMZ is a major tourist attraction. I expected to see a somber, dangerous place with everyone on edge. Instead it’s like a carnival atmosphere, with cuddly cartoon characters, everyone taking selfies.
I expected the same about the dmz. Lots of protests everyday in Seoul but they are nconfined. Korea is as safe and orderly as any nation on earth we can learn a lot from them. Just saw an American black man getting jacked up by Incheon airport police. He was filming the incident like he expected YouTube sjws to rescue him
