Socialism, the politics of the anthill, is largely incompatible with life and elevation of the human spirit.

While it appears to be the easy panacea for all the inequities and ills of daily life, socialism eventually degenerates into either a police state run by ruthless strong men, or becomes a seething mob with no direction but to bugger fellow humanity, with no empathy or sympathy whatsoever.

Look, we are STILL underestimating the number of people killed during the rule of Josef Stalin and Mao Zedong. If you add up all the mass shootings, deliberate famine, labor camps and forced exile, the death toll may in reality approach 200 million. The forced collectivization of farms in 1928-1933 and the Great Purge from 1936-1940 in the Soviet Union and the Great Leap Forward from 1958 to 1953 in China is only a small fraction of the mass killings Stalin and Mao engaged in.

A few of the particular commandments cited in this article (which is a very good article, by the way) are a bit of a stretch (adultery, e.g.). But the principle remains valid.

Perhaps an easier way to lay this out might be: there are two categories of commandments — 1) our behavior toward God, and 2) our behavior toward our fellow man. The commandments regarding God involve our giving our devotion to Him and Him alone, first, last and always. The commandments regarding our fellow man involve tamping down our natural tendency to covet what is not ours.

Socialism is entirely humanistic, hence it not only doesn’t accord to God His rightful place in lives, it leaves Him entirely out.

And socialism is built more on covetousness than upon any other principle.

This is a very disingenuous headline. It assumes Socialism must conform to the Judeo-Christian values. Really? This is a philosophy that was birthed in post-Christian Europe, conceived by 19th century atheists and implemented by 20th century nihilists. And it should obey the ten commandments?

In the 1980’s, Larry McDonald and a handful of others predicted that we were headed to a very bad place.
Now, 4 decades later, those dire predictions are becoming reality. We can stop it, but time is short!
The shorthand for Larry’s warning is this: A nation can VOTE socialism IN. But history tells us that socialism ALWAYS moves to communist TYRANNY. And the only way to escape TYRANNY is to shoot your way OUT!
