FULL TITLE: PHOTO: The 2000 US Census Asked Citizenship Question Obama Deleted it in 2010 Trump Wants It Back in 2020
On June 27th the United States Supreme Court ruled on the census citizenship question. SCOTUS sent it back to a lower court.
The decision essentially blocked the citizen question from the 2020 census.
Back in April the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on whether the Trump administration can include a citizenship question on the high-stakes 2020 Census questionnaire. This was a regularly asked question in historical census forms from 1820-1950.
As Michelle Malkin reported at the time, open borders groups linked to George Soros are leading the movement to exclude the citizenship question from the US Census.

That is, of course, the only reason why the left-wing monolith wants it outbecause their false messiah Barack deleted it, and anyone who undoes his “legacy” is automatically evil in their eyes.
This is criminal. It the question was on before in 2000 and many years before that and barky took it off without any contest why is it a problem at all to put it back on?
Just put it on the census. What are they going to do put somebody in jail for illegal questions? Prove it is illegal to do it.
This is downright criminal.
Gee. I wonder why B.O. eliminated the citizenship question?
Just a simple citizen/alien...check one....is sufficient. The most common example on previous censuses.
Bam dropped it, not a word in the media and no complaints. Trump wants it back and it’s never ending protest.
In 1960 President Eisenhower removed the citizenship question from the census.
What was his reason for excluding it?
Did the Supreme Court make a ruling asking Ike for the reason to remove the census question?
We know the Supreme Court did not complain when the census question was removed by Ike after being in place for many, many decades.
So why is the ‘reason’ for including the census question so almighty important now?
If there was no problem to remove the census question, then there should be no problem to include it.
Nope, you are way off. They want all illegals to stand up and be counted (not "hide in the shadows") so they can add more Congressional seats in the ultra-liberal states. Presidential electors are apportioned according to Congressional seats. THAT is why the leftists want it -- to boost their electoral count and win POTUS.
to save ink.
Question 13
It says quite a lot that SCOTUS gave President Trump a bit of a straight arm and said “Try again”. This really ought to be a no-brainer.
Obama. The “gift” that keeps on giving.
That wouldn't help.
When the long form was in use it only went to 1 out of every 6 households. It was just a sample.
Since 2000 the ACS (American Community Survey) has been used to gather the same information, including citizenship status. It's probably at least as accurate as the long form and it's done every year.
We haven't asked every household about citizenship since 1950.
The Supreme Court is nothing but a joke. The Executive Branch has the right to ask the question by law and the Court has no business violating the law. Proves what America’s Courts have become, liberal machines and will not support the Constitution.
If it was part of the census so recently, then how can SCOTUS demand some special reasons just to put it back.
It’s actually both. He led the way towards that lawless goal, in an official capacity; thus it becomes “legitimate”.
Piss on them! Just do it. If they report it was illegal, then for the SCOUTUS to poll all 375 million. Sick of these assholes that take an oath violate it because they don’t like who is in charge. Roberts is a full blown traitor.Fire him! Why should the President have to follow laws when they don’t?
aaannnd..... we have a winner!!
Good idea. You should email the WH. Seriously.
