How Many Divisions Does Chief Justice Roberts Have?

When Obama didn’t like a court order, he ignored it.

In fact , he exceeded the constitutional bounds of his office at least 10 times, notes Ilya Shapiro. He did it in intervening in Libya without even notifying Congress; in subverting creditors’ rights in the Chrysler bailout; in his administration’s implementation of ObamaCare; In the political profiling by the IRS; in illegally appointing three members of the NLRB and the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Board when Congress was not in recess; in directing “the Department of Homeland Security to issue work and residence permits” to the so-called Dreamers (Deferred Action to Childhood Arrivals); in assaulting free speech and due process on college campuses; in creating and implementing his clean power plan; in his overly expansive clean water plan to cover water which is not navigable; in adopting a net neutrality rule; in implementing a cap-and-trade rule.

After the 2014 midterms, the president decided that he had been wrong 22 times in saying he couldn’t give temporary legal status to illegal immigrants. The administration engineered this Deferred Action for Parents of Americans in the wake of Congress’ rejection of the same policies, in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act, immigration law, and the Constitution’s Take Care Clause.

By contrast, although hampered at every turn by Obama-appointed district court judges assuming themselves to be commanders-in-chief and issuing nationwide injunctions against presidential actions on spurious grounds, this administration has continued to follow the accepted path of appealing those rulings, despite the delays that entails.

There are two differences. One: Trump faces active rebellion within the bureaucracy he at least is the titular head of. Two: The Republicans in Congress do not have the President’s back.

It is easy.

obama was a powerful dictator that could do no wrong and could implement any policy that he wanted as president by the stroke of his pen. Any disagreements with obama are racist. Any and all failures (even 7.9 years into his administration) are blamed on the issues Bush left for obama.

Trump has no power and can do nothing unless all three branches of government agree. Any disagreement should be grounds for impeachment. Obama left a pristine environment and robust economy for Trump so all problems are Trump’s alone. Even if Trump implements the same exact policy as obama, he is a racist.

The fake legacy media told me so.

Did the forefathers include any kind of writing anywhere in the Constitution dealing with a president ignoring an SC Ruling

He is also trying to return respect to the courts despite what he says. Unfortunately Chief Injustice Roberts is too self absorbed to notice the fact that although President Trump complains about the courts he still honors their rulings.

President Trump believes in the rule of law.

THIS President can’t even blow his nose without somebody complaining and getting a judge to rule against him. The Deep State and all their allies have accomplished one thing - they have diminished, if not destroyed, respect for the office of President.

We will be silent no more. Should this geographical entity be so stupid as to elect another Democrat/Communist, we must be prepared to “take it to the streets”. Attack THEIR family. Use every foul name against THEM. Dimish THEM.

There are two differences

There's a third difference, Obama is black and white Republicans are frightened to criticize, however justly.

It is more than obvious the sole reason for the Judicial activist Judges behavior is to anger our President so he will himself provide the reason for his impeachment.

Jumping the appeals process as many here advocate will be reason enough for the Liberals to successfully pursue Impeachment.

The President needs to play by the rules for now. After he wins next yr he will begin a better position.

When 2 lefties are replaced Trump should offer up Merrick Garland if the rats agree to impeach Roberts.

Why does Trump send Deep State, career, Department of Justice lawyers into Court to defend his policies?

Why do I need to read an “American Thinker” essay to discover what Conservative lawyers would do with Trump’s case?

Trump is not stupid or weak.

Either Trump is trying to stall court decisions, or he is deliberately trying to lose.

He expects people being paid to properly do their job.

Unlike you, Trump doesn’t know all Federal employees to personally pick only the conservative ones within each department to take lead positions on each team, everywhere.

Get your head out of Cruz’s butt.

There's a pretty big difference between ignoring a court order, and taking an action that is later found to be unconstitutional. Obama did a fair bit of the latter, but I don't recall him ever doing the former.

Roberts is playing for the other team most cases. Let him be impeached. Do it now. (The swamp republicans in the senate won’t convict though)

JUST SAYIN...If Chief Justice Roberts were part of the Roman Catholic hierarchy during the second half of the twentieth century, he would have been one of those who found a way to avoid punitive action against those pedophiles who served in his jurisdiction and broke their vow and the LAW....Just sayin’

Trump can personally ignore a SC ruling.

However, a SC ruling gives the bureaucracy an excuse to ignore Trump.

Trump would need the power to fire any executive-branch employee, regardless of civil service protections. He's not going to get that any time soon.

We definitely agree on one point....

Trump is completely helpless.

What’s Cruz got to do with a presidential discussion?

Cruz can barely get elected in Texas.
