After the United States Women’s National Soccer Team’s (USWNT) won the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup for the fourth time, co-captain Megan Rapinoe and midfielder Allie Long can be seen disrespecting the flag.
Long dropped the American flag on the ground to do a choreographed celebration with Rapinoe and co-captain Alex Morgan. While posing for the cameras, Long and Rapinoe dragged the American flag with their feet after it was on the ground.
Midfielder Kelley O’Hara quickly picked up the flag after it was beginning to be dragged along Long and Rapinoe’s feet.

I tuned in for a couple mins yesterday hoping to see the Dutch in the lead and I thought I was watching the men’s game for a moment. I quickly turned the channel.
