U.S. Border Patrol apprehended 688,375 illegal aliens on the southern border this fiscal year, according to the latest CBP data. In June alone, Border Patrol agents apprehended 94,897 illegal immigrants.

Sounds like a lot. I read a report at one point revealing how many people had been apprehended in one nine month period in the 2000s. At one point, one sector alone had arrested over 900,000 in a nine month period. They try to act like things are worse than they have ever been, but it's no true.

doesn’t matter how many they arrest. It’s how many get thru. Arrest means they are IN the US. That’s a bad thing.

Trying to count the number of illegals crossing the border by the ones detained is no more accurate than deciding how many speeders are on the road based on the number of tickets issued.
