Despite U.S. Economic Success, Financial Anxiety Remains
Gallup Organization ^ | 7/12/19 | V. Lance Tarrance

President Donald Trump has repeatedly touted the U.S. economy as performing extremely well ... But there's always been a paradox with national economic success, as it means voters can afford to turn their attention to other issues. One such potential issue is Americans' personal financial insecurity. According to a recent Gallup poll, 40% of Americans say they are either running into debt or barely making ends meet.

The numbers in the body of the article indicate that FEWER Americans feel economic conditions are only fair or poor today, than in 2016. And, that the number of persons having difficulty paying various bills is lower for every category of bill. Nevertheless, the headline is negative.

At the Congressional hearings associated with the Federal Reserve's semi-annual economic outlook report this past week, the Democrats emphasized the negative. It was as though they were saying things used to be better when people could blame their inability to handle their finances on the economy. Now, with a booming economy, they have nobody to blame but themselves. Do you see what you have done to their self-esteem?

Financial Anxiety Remains

Yes, because of the barking dogs of the Satanic Left.

We have about 2% unemployment in these parts. New workers start at minimum wage, work a few months then find good jobs with benefits. Most folks with debt problems don’t know how to budget.

I know my financial anxiety is higher today than it was a year ago, because I’m now only guaranteed 18 months of rule by a President who is not a Marxist.

A rational person always has some anxiety regarding finances. For instance if the socialist Democrats actually take power, things will be bleak indeed. Fat, dumb and happy may sound good but it is no way to go through life.

During the presidency of Bush the younger, the economy was generally good due to tax cuts, but the Democrats harped on the negatives until they finally spooked consumers into crashing the economy. The biggest negative was created by the Democrats, and not opposed by timid Republicans — pressuring banks to make risky loans to blacks..

The demonicrats changed the rules and procedures to calculate and report the economy and make themselves look good. Trump is using the same data methods to make a comparison to how well he is doing compared to his predecessors.

Millennials never learned to budget money. They believe that they should have whatever they want, whenever they want it. The concept of savings is unknown to them. Mommy or Daddy will bail them out.

What possibly could be causing this?

Could it be that "too much is NOT enough" is the mantra of those in pursuit of the "almighty dollar"

Could also be an indicator of just how many people went on the dole during the Obama years.

Also, people who went on disability as a last option after job loss during the same time period.

your gut feeling is correct: it’s the people pulling that cart who have the worries. Those riding in the cart, what do they care?

Trump represents the lower-middle, and the middle-middle class. Call them the working class. People who have problems with bronze plans or do without health insurance, but don’t qualify for Medicaid.

The Democrats promised free or reduced cost health insurance, and knew it was a lie for the working class. They call the working class deplorable and irredeemable, because they hate this country and because they hate the people of this country.

You see many Americans have the same issue as the US govt.... they only want to spend, without making accommodations for the day when the money runs out. the govt however will print more money, us regular folks cannot do that.If you spend beyond your means own it, do not blame anyone else.

The Left...Gallup...has been pushing Financial Anxiety since January, 2017.

Even on Fox Business, even on Charles Payne’s show, it is de rigueur to wring hands and talk “anxiety and recession” at least three times an hour.

And Cavuto, that pest, has his long face on everyday, worrying about finances.

I wonder why. Hmmm... You don’t suppose that the washington establishment/media mafia attempts to overthrow and undermine our government and societal stability for three years has anything to do with market anxiety, do you?

This is just the media doing ground prep work for the coming Democrat proposal to forgive all the student loans.

This anxiety is all driven by the forces that are pulling the country into the toilet. Men died to make this the greatest country on earth and that is not good enough to most.
