John Roberts is the biggest disappointment to the Supreme Court since Earl Warren.

I can settle the whole argument without all the legal mumbo jumbo with one question;

Why didn’t the supreme court interpret political intent when Obama removed it from the census?

POTUS should ask one question for clarification. Is it constitutional or not? Yes or no?

Other than hat, he should just go ahead and reprint the forms with it in.

We should all clip this article and mail it to Injustice Roberts. He is making a mockery of the rule of law

I’ll take “He’s being blackmailed for $200 Alex.”

Whatever it is they have on Roberts, its knowable. If the black hats have it, the white hats should be able to determine what it is and either free him up from blackmail, or simply present it to him directly and force him to resign.

In any case, he needs to go. He is subject to improper influence and that means he has to go... but he will only go if he is more afraid of the white hats than he is of the black hats.

Similar to the Acosta episode. He was subject to improper influence when he agreed to Epstein’s sweetheart deal. We need to know who was pressuring him... but the fact that there is something out there that makes him “pressurable” meant he had to go. What it was we maybe don’t need to know, since he is out of government. But the fact that he has some kind of baggage that compromises him means he had to go.

Stealing defeat from the jaws of victory for the Constitution and the country

Roberts is 2 for 2 in this endeavor

How much more proof do you need that this country is ruled by a hidden elite exercising control from the sidelines.

John Roberts is keenly interested in protecting the SCOTUS as an institution, and somehow has come to the misguided conclusion that he can split hairs in such a way as to shield it from criticism. This is not the first time he has done this.

In this instance, I think he counted on PDJT staying resolute, reconstructing his plan to add the citizenship question, and then moving forward to have that on the census. Roberts could then step back and say, “Hey, no harm, no foul. All’s well that ends well; thanks to the SCOTUS.”

But PDJT is a crafty fellow. He gets to have his cake and eat it too. He finds another means to construct the same data. He disarms the Dems. He wins in the court of public opinion. He makes John Roberts in particular look like a fool. And he reinforces in the minds of his base (and increasingly of independents) that the judiciary is a big part of this country’s problems.

PDJT is described by liberals everywhere and always as impetuous, as if he opens his mouth and stuff comes out. My sense is the opposite. He plays with gut instincts but is premeditated and calculating. He stays relentlessly on message and methodically on plan. Because Dems fail to understand him, they react reflexively, flailing about, and always jumping the shark. This in turn gives him greater license to tweet incendiary things, since he knows that Dems will come back orders of magnitude more incendiary and largely incoherent.

I am neither fan nor foe of this president, but his reliable winning streak is impressive and likely to continue. I just hope that he does not become complacent or filled with hubris.

It appears that Roberts is a wholly owned asset of the Deep State. He’s not following the Constitution, he’s following orders.

This article presents the best analysis of the Census Question case and the flaws in the majority opinion. Roberts joined with the 4 usual suspects to issue an incoherent and extra judicial opinion. Justice Thomas summarized it clearly and succiently: Asking the question is constitutional and within the authority of the Secretary of Commerce to decide if it should be included in the 2020 Census. At that point, the judicial review should have been over.

The goal of this lawsuit on the part of the plantiffs and the corrupt district judges who supported this action was to run out the clock so that the Administration could not do a legal and constitutional addition to the Census that the Democrats wanted stopped for partisan reasons. They won thanks to the Chief Justice’s interference with the political and legal process.

the court majority argued that it thought the administration’s stated rationale for reinstating the question was disingenuous

Doesn't the enemy of an action always hold that the advocate for the action is acting disingenuously? That's standard fare. Roberts only confirms his personal bias and willfully permits it to sway the mind of the SCOTUS. That is ... in a phrase ... "judicial tyranny". Roberts is, quite literally, now a "black-robed tyrant".

It’s obvious they have dirt on Roberts. Some REAL journalists should do some investigation going back to when he abruptly changed on obamacare.

Someone has a string tied around his balls. He goes along fine making good decisions and then when something is really important to the Left the string gets pulled. We’ll learn someday what it is they are holding over his head.
