Their message is they want to remake this country into a hellhole for most of us - - and a paradise for the two percent of democcrat 'elites' (read 'white trash') and for a few pet victim group members...
They'll be able to say anything or do anything to us - but if we dare to disagree with THEM they'll hurt us. Kind of like thin-skinned democrats are now - only much worse.

I don’t like “the squad” or anything they stand for but will defend their rights to be idiots and say idiotic things.
His “clarifications” do not in any way diminish what was originally stated:

Nobody is taking away their rights to be idiots. We're merely pointing out the obvious. It's the nature of public discourse that people will disagree with you.

If any of us knew a person who made a profession out of hating the city they live in - constantly putting it down, we might tell them no one’s forcing them to stay and suggest they might want to move back to the city they came from..
Same if they hated the company they worked for - and complained about it every day... we might say, " it's time to 'move on'... to a different company. Maybe a better fit... All of this is common sense. It's NOT racism.
Every election season half of Hollywood (well, not really half but a lot) threatens to leave the country if a Republican is elected and we tell them to leave. Here's a flash: Hollywood liberals who threaten to leave are WHITE... and we encourage them to leave. So IF YOU hate this country - YOU have the right to leave and go to a much better country. If you can find one... (no country is going to be happy to take in ingrates who express hatred for their country - but they'll learn that) No one is holding any of these people back. Go to some socialist paradise... or stay and complain but don't expect us to sit quietly and not express how WE FEEL... You're free to say what YOU want and SO ARE WE.

If you can't see that no one is being told to leave (but to explain the contradiction in their supposed beliefs), then you should probably be on an Etch-A-Sketch, not a keyboard...and my comment does not deprive you of your First Amendment rights.
If you can’t defend the rights of those you disagree with don’t expect others to defend your rights when rights you cherish are under attack.
I have no idea what right you’re talking about, and I suspect you don’t either. The right to be free of criticism?
