Yes, I completely missed out on Poco. First heard this song a couple of weeks ago: Poco - You Better Think Twice.

Great proto-band.

Jim Messina became better-known when he was "sittin' in" with Kenny Loggins.

Bassist Timothy B. Schmit went on to join The Eagles.

Richie Furay, Rusty Young, and George Grantham didn't do that bad either.

Early in his career, Jim Messina was in Buffalo Springfield at the tail-end of that group.

My favorite Poco tracks are “Rose of Cimarron” and “Heart of the Night”.

Poco’s first bassist was Randy Meisner who left to join the Eagles. Poco replaced him with Timothy B Schmidt.

When Meisner left the Eagles, they replaced him with TBS.

Hell of a time to live in SoCal when those guys were just getting started and the Troubadour was just a small local club...and 10 minutes from my apt.
