I have not heard how the remark that you can come back and show us how you fixed things works out in the you’re a racist meme. As I recall, Jefferson did not tell the blacks that they could come back from Africa, but he also did not insist that they go.

Racism isn’t subtle. It’s slavery, or else segregation, denial of the right to vote, restrictions on marriage, on movement, and on occupation, backed up by the force of the state and the terrorism of the KKK.
This so-called scholar has no idea of what racism is. Just as those on the left have no idea what Nazism or Communism are. To compare Trump to Hitler is to make of Hitler a mere politician with whom you disagree, when Hitler was a monster.
Conversely, protecting Americans from competition in the marketplace by illegal aliens isn’t racist. It is just the opposite. It puts our people first, so all of our people, and not just those in the upper income brackets, benefit from our booming economy. We want to replace the cycle of welfare-dependency and inter-generational poverty with full-time jobs with benefits and pay-increases, and we want intact families and neighborhoods free of crime.
This is our dream and it’s for all of us, white, black, legal immigrant, you name it.
They are so disingenuous. They take 2 words out of context and call it racist. He did not say they should “go back”, he said they should go back and fix those places first, and then show us how it is done.
The implication was that they have zero credibility until they accomplish something they have no point of reference to “fix America”. But they turn it into “racism”.
American University, where I did some graduate studies, has become another neo-Marxist, PC academic shithole re what this “professor” is saying.
I’m classified as a “historian” by the US govt for my extensive knowledge in certain aspects of the U.S. industrial mobilization for war in WW1 and WW2, and by some Vietnam veterans/historians groups for certain aspects of that war, so I have some qualifications to speak to a limited degree on this BS.
Remember when signs in the 1800’s thru mid-1900’s said “No Irish allowed”; “No Jews Allowed”; No Negroes allowed”; no Dogs allowed”?
This was “racist” or “anti-ethnic origins” or plain ‘anti-immigrant”. Shit happens and this did. Today, thankfully, America grew up (with the exception of a small bunch of white psychos aka Nazis, White Supremacists/racists; etc. numbering much less than the Marxist/Anarchist Red and Black Bloc street psychopathic terrorists.
Professional “BLACK” academics and pseudo-academics have made being an anti “racism” warrior into a “profession” and wear nice suits, have nice offices, and appear on CNN, MSNBC and other corrupted mainstream media channels, etc.
I just came out of a major hospital where it was a little United Nations of foreign born nationals, people of different religions, cultures, etc. They were not “racists” or “anti-racists” as Kendi splits everyone into only those two categories. They were loving, skilled, friendly human beings helping to reconstruct the injured and the ill.
People, just plain people, be decent human beings.
It is time that we stop listening to, and playing, the Marxists’ divisive “racism” games and start fighting back against this new type of “class warfare”, now known as “race warfare”.
If I don’t like someone it is not because of their race/color, ethnic origins, etc. It is because, in my opinion, based on information I know or have received about them, that they are evil, corrupt, incompetent, Democrats (well not all), stupid, greedy (Hillary My Belle), or just plain race-baiting con artists and professors like Sharpton, Kendi, Cornell West, Mark Lamont Hill, Joy Reid, etc.
Once we stop this attack on America by the “new Racists”, then we will once again get back on track to improving relations among all Americans and future Americans, correctly past wrongs if it can be done in a realistic way, and making America greater and stronger than before.
The American soldiers I met in So. Vietnam during the war were just that, American soldiers, not blacks, whites, greens or striped. In fact, the first American soldier I met was a Christian chaplain who gave me a lift to the U.S. Embassy which was being guarded by a brown-skin Honduran who enlisted in the Army so he could become an American citizen.
I met a Jewish MP deep in the Mekong Delta at Bac Lieu, along with a Jewish doctor, a volunteer from the AMA’s medical help program project for VN. Other Americans were white, Christian, etc. BUT ALL WERE AMERICANS FIRST.
It is time to stop listening and promoting the racists Marxists (after all, Lenin and Stalin developed the various ethnic/religious “republics” of the USSR so that they could contain each group in a geographical area and not let them assimilate with others who hated the Communists).
Once we do that, we can cleanse academia of its embedded and too well paid racists, communists, psychopaths, and losers in life.
Ask the historian about the Left’s love of racist thug Che Guevara or even racist Woody Gutherie (who’s dad was a Klansman)
