How is this different from the Clinton Administration going after MSFT basically for their lack of political donations? I imagine some lobbying dollars from Google’s vast cash reserves would make everything OK in this case too. Its nice to see liberals ‘squirm’, but doesn’t a Conservative solution depend on competing ideas from another company in the public arena? Not using the power of the Federal government to force them to keep their opinions to themselves. As far as treating them like a utility, I don’t even like utilities being treated like utilities, ie legalized monopolies.
